Clairfield advises Customs Support Group on its acquisition of UK Customs Solutions
Customs Support Group, a European customs-services provider backed by Castik Capital, acquired UK Customs Solutions, a UK-based customs broker.
Customs Support Group is Europe’s leading independent and neutral provider of customs services employing >1.000 dedicated customs professionals serving over 10,000 customers annually. In addition, to traditional brokerage and digital services, Customs Support Group offer customs consulting and gas measurement services. The company is currently active in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Poland and Italy.
Established in 2014, UK Customs Solutions is an AEO authorised customs broker with approx. 150 people based out of Felixstowe, Nottingham, Glasgow and Dover. The two founders of UKCS, Bryn Ward and Ross Gosling have managed to build a leading customs broker, that serves more than 1,000 customers ranging from large international companies to small and medium sized UK companies. Clairfield International acted as exclusive financial advisor to Customs Support Group.
