Clairfield advises Infinitas Learning on the acquisition of WSiP
Infinitas Learning, a Dutch educational publisher, acquired WSiP, a leading publisher of schoolbooks in Poland.
Infinitas Learning is a Dutch educational publishing company based in Utrecht. It is a key European provider of innovative products and services for learning including interactive software, online learning, and teaching materials. It is owned by NPM Capital, a private equity firm headquartered in the Benelux and wholly owned by SHV.
Established in 1945, WSiP is a key player in K-12 education in Poland. It is a leading publisher of schoolbooks with a wide range for school and kindergarten pupils, out-of-school education, and teacher training. The company is an author of both paper and electronic textbooks, with 1.2 million monthly online users downloading almost 12 million editions. It was previously owned by Central Group, a leading Central European private investment group.
With the support of Infinitas Learning, WSiP is well positioned to further innovate and develop its position in the Polish market. WsiP joins the Infinitas presence in Sweden, Belgium, and Portugal.
