Clairfield advises MBO of DataExpert backed by Quadrum Capital
The management of DataExpert Holding II B.V., alongside private equity firm Quadrum Capital, acquired a majority stake in the company from Soestdijk Capital in an MBO transaction. Soestdijk Capital is managed by Committed Capital Management.
DataExpert, headquartered in Veenendaal, is a one‐stop‐shop for end‐to‐end cybersecurity and cyberintelligence technology solutions. Services include security, analytics, and digital forensics solutions.
Committed Capital is a private equity firm investing in SME companies with a strong growth ambition. Its typical deal size at entry ranges between EUR 5 and EUR 20 million. Committed Capital is currently investing from its second fund backed by informal investors and family offices.
Quadrum Capital is a private equity firm with considerable experience in the IT sector. Quadrum Capital recently closed its EUR 100 million Quadrum Investment Fund II and DataExpert is Quadrum
Capital’s fourth investment from this fund.
Clairfield International acted as advisor to the management of DataExpert Holding II B.V. in the transaction and in negotiating new shareholder and management terms.
