VDMI sold to VE Partners
VDMI, a specialist in the development, production, and filling of cleaning and personal care products, was sold to VE Partners, a Dutch private equity fund focused on supporting mid-sized companies in the Benelux.
Founded in 1932 and headquartered in Bodegraven, the Netherlands, VDMI is active in the formulation and contract manufacturing of a wide range of household, skincare, disinfectant, and (professional) cleaning products.
The company operates two production sites in the Netherlands and employs approximately 200 people. With a strong focus on automation, flexibility, and customer-specific solutions, VDMI serves a diverse client base in both the professional and retail markets.
VE Partners is an established Dutch private equity firm with a track record of investing in medium-sized businesses across the Netherlands and Belgium. The firm supports its portfolio companies in realizing operational improvements, accelerating growth, and pursuing strategic acquisitions.
With VE Partners as its new shareholder, VDMI is well-positioned to further build on its market-leading position. The partnership is aimed at accelerating growth through investments in capacity, product development, and targeted acquisitions, as well as expanding its footprint in both existing and new customer segments.
